Why PADI Search and Recovery Diver?

To familiarize yourself with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and fun of search and recovery diving.

What do I need to start?

Must hold Advanced Open Water certification
Have 20 logged dives and experience in night diving, deep, and underwater navigation
Minimum age requirement: 15 years

What will I do?

Develop practical knowledge of search and recovery diving
Be able to plan, organize, and make search and recovery dives

All your own standard diving equipment
Two dive lights - Primary and backup
Scuba Sextant
Lift bag (one per buddy team)
Underwater reel and search line (one per buddy team)

Once you have completed your PADI Deep Diver Specialist Course, you can continue the adventure with PADI's other Specialty Courses such as Wreck Diver, or Underwater Videographer just to name a few.
