PADI Underwater Naturalist Course

Why PADI Underwater Naturalist Diver?

To create an awareness. The submarine world is different from the terrestrial world. Those who venture underwater are in a unique position to observe and interact with organisms entirely different than those on land. In a sense, those who enter the underwater world are a privilege group; they have first hand personal experiences with aquatic life.

What do I need to start?

Must be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver. Minimum age requirement is 12 to earn a PADI Underwater Naturalist Certification.

What will I do?

Make two open water dives and:

Be introduced to the aquatic realm.
Learn about aquatic life mythology and human perception of aquatic life.
Survey of aquatic life and relationships between aquatic animals.
Learn responsible human interactions with aquatic life.
