







Why PADI Underwater Photographer?
To familiarize yourself with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedure, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of underwater photography.
What do I need to start?
Must be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or a Junior Open water Diver . Minimum age requirement is 12 to earn a PADI Underwater Photographer Certification.
What will I do?
| Develop knowledge of photographic principles, composition, film types, strobe and available light photography and camera handling techniques. |
| Develop practical knowledge of the preparation, care and maintenance of photographic equipment. |
| Learn to take underwater photographs that are properly composed, focused and exposed. |

What will I need?
| All your own standard diving equipment |
| Underwater still photography equipment type (housed, amphibious, viewfinder, rangefinder, SLR, twin lens reflex, roll-film cameras) and film format (110,135,120) will vary, but any type of still camera is acceptable |
